This is the first time I’ve really been impacted by the issues I’ve heard so many talk about with our postal service. And it bums me out because next time I have to get something shipped to me, I’m gonna think twice about usps vs. fedex/ups

@usps well today, when it was returned to the sender, I gave another call and asked the status of my case and why it was still not changed. The customer service rep literally told me that it’s useless to open a case bc the local post office doesn’t even look at the open cases ???

@Hawggfan @bgregs2k13 @RobGarrison_ Cost would definitely rise.. that’s part of the issue. All of those companies still use the USPS for rural addresses and last leg deliveries, because it’s not worth it for them.

Shout out to @USPS! Shipped a package via Priority Mail from Richmond, VA Saturday, 12/21. Expected delivery to Phoenix, AZ, 12/24 by 8 pm. Actual delivery: Monday, 12/23 before 4:30 pm! Well done!

@LTCShop @LethalityJane @Transamerica If the insurers know HIPPA forces the USPS delay, why do they specify that they will take 10-15 business days to review the new info? When they sent any letter to us, it took 10d for USPS to get it to us. Then gave us 2wk from the letter date to reply before suspending claim

@gingerweil I’ve always thought the USPS was a great deal and very reliable. I don’t know why people complain about the cost of postage; I think it’s cheap for the service you get.

@augie_wartooth @MichaelKolbeVA Precisely! One solution is for the post office to offer retail bank like services like they used to. This has problems too though. Ex. the post office in Churchill is constantly on the chopping block and Federal GOP electeds are hostile to the USPS

@cryogen_mtg Had a parcel delivered, returned to sender, then silence and it got lost. Only to be told my package got sent back to the Distributor by notification of the Distributor. The customer service of usps leaves a lot to be desired.

@ItsJakJak @USPS How about no? As an online business owner, I ship exclusively with the USPS for their service and value. This would kill my business. Think of it that way.

I do not recommend shipping with @UPS. they use @USPS as a sub contractor and good luck getting your expensive package. This is the 4th package lost. Horrible customer service #horriblecx

@USPS USPS service performance remains high with 93 percent of First-Class Mail being delivered on time....Never mind those pesky security cameras showing carriers lying about delivery / redelivery to ensure proper service performance is "on time".

@AmazonHelp Ensure that they do not need to schedule a delivery. This is horrible business practice. Every single time we have utilized USPS when ordering an Amazon package, we seem to have a different problem. And the customer service doesn’t make us feel better.
