You have to come up with a strategy to handle transfers. I have left leaving players in and then make adjustments at end of year while I still can edit roster after bowl games.

If leaving you can revise ratings to 40 so they will be cut.
You can also use these players to absorb transfers in and adjust rankings to match player coming in. This has to be done before you advance to 2024.

Also focus your recruiting on filling your 2024 roster via create a player or Jucos. Keep your create players at 40 or someone will grab them. You can adjust rankings later. I go week by week so I can control recruiting.

Note if you can’t match position for position on your team you can do a position change when you start new season. For other teams of course they will stay where you put them but the depth chart adjustment will reset based on your rankings.

You should be able to get a really accurate roster for your team as well as teams in your conference and on you 2024 schedule.

For Big Ten and teams I play I also update their freshmen’s to actual recruits and rankings. Unfortunately this will not effect the already determined depth chart but it will when your start 2025.
